Staffing News
A Fond Farewell…
It is with very mixed
emotions that I share that Scott Chin will be leaving us at Fossil Hill Public
School to be the Principal of Cornell Village Public
School. His last day here at Fossil Hill Public School
will be June 29.
Mr. Chin has been our Principal for the past three years, leading our students and staff in our journey to becoming the #1 School in the World! Throughout his time at Fossil Hill, he has been dedicated and engaged in the life of our School. We have all greatly appreciated Mr. Chin’s leadership, enthusiasm and commitment to the Fossil Hill Community.
We are sad to be saying
goodbye to Mr. Chin, but, are exited for him as he returns to Cornell Village
Public School as Principal. Mr. Chin wishes the
students and their families all the best, and looks forward to hearing stories
of their continued learning journeys. Please join me and our staff in
congratulating Mr. Chin. We will also be wishing him well and saying our
good-byes as a community at our Closing Assembly and at our Grade 8
Graduation.
A Warm Welcome…
It is with pleasure that
we welcome Ms. Joanne Lomanno-Aprile to Fossil Hill Public
School as Principal. Previously, she was Interim Principal at
Sam Chapman Public School. She will be visiting us in the weeks to come
and will be working closely with both Mr. Chin and myself to ensure a smooth
transition.
